This new section of the Counselor Corner was created to share current and past scholarships that WHS has received. This will allow parents to quickly and easily print the most recent scholarships, and know when they are due.

Williston Coyote Foundation
The Williston Coyote Foundation awards over 50 scholarships exclusively to graduating seniors of Williston High School. It awards more money to graduating than any other public school foundation in the state of North Dakota. Fill out one simple application form to apply to all these scholarships.

North Dakota Academic and Career and Technical Education Scholarships

North Dakota Dollars for Scholars
This encourages post secondary education attendance for North Dakota students by creating statewide scholarship opportunities and supporting local Dollars for Scholars chapters which provide local scholarship opportunities.

Credit Union Foundation of the Dakotas
The Credit Union Foundation of the Dakots will award ten $500 scholarships for applicants that exemplify the credit union philosophy of "people helping people" through volunteering, community service, and leadership.

North Dakota Community Foundation
The NDCF lists scholarships available based on college, region, and those available statewide. Scholarships at NDCF are primarily for North Dakota colleges.

Fastweb offers information on scholarships, financial aid, and career advice. They have a database of more than 1.5 million scholarships worth $3.4 billion.

College Board
Find scholarships, other financial aid, and internships from more than 2,200 programs, totally nearly $6 billion. Enter as much information as possible to find the most matches.

JLV College Counseling
A free resource for prospective and current college students, as well as their parents and guardians. Run by an experienced college admissions officer, this is a well-organized website with scholarship information and much more.

This is a scholarship website that does not require login, survey forms, or sales pitches. This website is organized in a unique way, buy demographic-based scholarships, by subject you wish to study, by state, and by degree you are seeking.

Hagan Scholarship Foundation
The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide need-based merit scholarship designed to help high-achieving students from small towns and rural areas graduate college debt-free. Recipients must: a) graduate from a public high school located in a county having fewer than 50,000 residents, or b) graduate from a remote rural school located in a county having more than 50,000 residents. Five hundred more scholarships will be awarded in April 2021.  The scholarship provides up to $48,000 over four years to attend college. Recipients must enroll at an eligible four-year not-for-profit college or university the first semester following high school graduation.



Grow Ag Leaders Scholarship

Every year, Grow Ag Leaders awards more than $500,000 in scholarships to students studying in ag-related fields. It’s up to farming communities to remind students that a career in ag is beneficial to both their own personal success stories and our growing population. Grow Ag Leaders asks farmers to endorse high school seniors or college students for a chance to win a $1,500 scholarship to support their higher education studies in ag-related fields. The 2021 Grow Ag Leaders Scholarship Program will open for applications on November 1, 2020.
