Summer School Phy. Ed Info
The schedule for Summer School Phy. Ed is very different from the other Summer School classes at Williston High School, so please pay attention to the schedule below. Save important dates on your phone now.
Breakfast and lunch will be served to students daily.
Beyond the difference in dates for Summer School Phy. Ed, we also require certain clothing/equipment, which will be listed below. If you have any questions, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
First Session: May 25-June 7
Second Session: June 13-June 25
Regular class times are from 7:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. with the first day of each session beginning with a meeting at the WHS Theater at 7:30 a.m. After the first day, we meet every day at Williston Middle School.
Summer School Phy. Ed has three full days tentatively scheduled, which will run from 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. These days we will be going to various sites for fun days of educational physical activity.
First Session Full Days

- Monday, June 4—Medora
- Wednesday, June 6—Painted Woods Shooting Range
Second Session Full Days
- Thursday, June 14—Lewis and Clark State Park
- Monday, June 18—Medora
- Wednesday, June 20—Painted Woods Shooting Range
What you need for Summer School Phy. Ed
Make sure you have a bicycle in good working order as we travel by bicycle to our activities every day. We furnish helmets, but you may bring your own. Note: you will not need your bicycle the first day of each session.
Proper Phy. Ed Clothing
At various points throughout this class you will need gym shoes, shorts, sweat pants, a swimming suit, backpack to carry water, and a softball glove. Please watch the weather and dress appropriately (e.g. wear a raincoat if it's raining).
Money for Bowling
At some point, we may go bowling. Please bring $10 on that day so you can bowl.
Before a student can participate in Summer School Phy. Ed they must complete a Summer School Physical Education Waiver Form and submit it to the WHS Office.
Additionally, students will need to fill out a permission form for the Painted Woods Shooting Range. We will be spending the day at the range shooting clays and .22 rifles. Jim Jones is in charge at the Range along with Bob Evans with the Williston Rifle and Pistol Club.
