WHS Device Rental

WHS is now offering rental devices for students grades 9-12

A device rental can only be completed by a parent/guardian and must be done using the PowerSchool Parent Portal

Following the instructions below you will log into the Parent Portal and add a device rental for each WHS student you wish to rent a device for.  Once you have completed the form and paid via the website, no checks or cash will be accepted, your student will be able to check-in at the High School and after reading and signing the rental agreement be issued a school chromebook.  

Sign in to PowerSchool Parent Portal

  1. Visit www.willistonschools.org then select Parents > PowerSchool Parent Portal https://williston.ps.state.nd.us/public/home.html
  2. Click the link Student Fees in the sidebar navigation menu
  3. This will open the Rycor Online Payment website
  4. You will be brought to a Summary Page that displays the outstanding balance for each student attached to your parent account.
  5. Each student will also have their own separate tab that displays a detailed breakdown of fees on individual accounts. Click on each student name to see the fees due or paid.
    • At the bottom of the window there are optional fees that are available to each student that can be added to a shopping cart. These fees are not included in a student’s outstanding balance until added to the cart.
  6. The total amount due for all children will appear in the CART total in the top right corner of the window.
  7. After you have added fees to your shopping cart, click on the Cart in the top right-hand corner of the screen to review your cart. Once you are ready to make payment, click on the Pay Now button.

Making a Partial Payment

  1.  Select Partial Payment if you do not want to pay the full amount due
  2. When viewing your cart total, you can delete the amount in the Total green box for each student, and change the amount to a smaller dollar amount.
  3. Click on the Update Cart button to update your total payment amount. Payments will be applied to fees based on a priority ranking system determined by the School District.
    • Lower Priority- Band Trips, Yearbook
    • Higher Priority- Computer Rental, Book Fines, Student ID
  4. Click Return to Checkout to complete the payment information.

 

Pay Online for Computer Rental for grades 9-12

  1. Click on the student name that will be using a the rental device
  2. Select the Computer Rental button at the bottom of the screen and read and agree to the Rental Terms.
    1. The Guardian and Student must read and agree to the “Acceptance of Rental Terms”
  3. When all fields are filled in click the Add to Cart button at the bottom of the form
  4. Then go into the shopping cart to pay the fee before the computer will be issued to the student.
