Family, Career and Community Leaders of America
FCCLA is a national Career and Technical Student Organization that provides personal growth, leadership development, and career preparation opportunities for students in Family and Consumer Sciences education. With the family as its central focus, FCCLA offers a variety of enriching experiences including:
- leadership meetings
- community service
- personal development
- family development
- leadership and career awareness
Anyone who has taken or is currently enrolled in a Family and Consumer Science class is eligible to join Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA).

Brenda Gullikson is in her 28th year of teaching and her 11th at Williston High School. She currently teaches Foods 1, Living on Your Own, and Child Development. She is the past president of the North Dakota Association of Teachers of Family and Consumer Sciences and has received national recognition from FCCLA as a Master Adviser and Adviser Mentor. Gullikson has earned status as a Level 2 Google Certified Instructor.
